Tying one on with a die cut!

**Punches or Die Cuts**

CAS-ual Fridays & Less is More: I love it when my husband get's to stay home with me on Saturdays - it doesn't always happen because he sometimes chooses to work - but those rare Saturdays that he does stay home, we always end up going and doing something together. Today we went to an auction; we mostly went so he could buy cheap tools and then re-sell them on Craigs List, but I also went because I saw a really nice "drafting" table for only $35 (I don't know what you want to call it really) but it fits great in my "scraping corner" in the house and it also fits the super-large light box my hubby made for me, plus my 12x12 Cricut machine. I think we walked away with a good deal!

And so, buying a new table to add more room to my little spot, seemed to make me really creative and I thought I would do a challenge over at the Less is More blog where you have to use a punch or die cut, and the CAS-ual Friday's blog where you have to use ribbon. I think this challenge was really fun because you got to work with ribbon and I've been wanting to try ribbon weaving for awhile.

I remembered that I had some really fun pink glitter ribbon that I had bought a long time ago and I thought it would be great to weave together to make a card. I used my Cricut and Sure Cuts A Lot (If anyone needs to purchase SCAL for a CHEAP cost, please send me a message or leave a comment below!!) and made the heart for the card. There are SO many nice cards on this site and I get so many awesome ideas. Thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by and look at my card!

  1. This is really pretty... I keep getting reminded of techniques I haven't done for ages and paper weaving is one of them, lovely card!
