Unity & CAS-ual Fridays Challenges

CFC109 Polka Dot & Unity Be Inspired Challenges: I thought, since my 8 month old was sleeping, that I would make another card for a challenge.I usually don't make cards from sketches (I never seem to make them look like I want them to, or how the sketch looks) but I think I came kind of close to the Unity Be Inspired Challenge sketch. I used some polka dot patterned paper so that I could also enter the CAS-ual Friday's Challenge for this week.

I've not used stitching in awhile, so I thought I would try it out on my card and make a swirl. It's kind of hard to see it, since the polka dot paper is very red, but if you look close, you can see it just enough to

Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye ('The Sweetest Thing' collection)
Paper elements: My Mind's Eye ('The Sweetest Thing' collection)
Sentiment stamp: Unity Stamp Co.
Swirl pattern: Oriental Trading
Stapler/Staples: EK Success (Fastenater)
Ink: Brilliance (Pearlscent Poppy)
Other: Thread, pop-dots

  2. Oh, the stitching is amazing! I love the texture it adds against the polka dots. The angle of the sentiment looks great. Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
