Friends' With Flair

Cigar box & cards gift set: My cousin got married this past weekend and her new last name starts with an 'S' so I thought I would make a gift for her to use after she gets married. My husband brought home a bunch of cigar boxes and I found one that not only fits the cards, but also has room for a pen and some extra sentiments that my cuz can add to the cards if she wishes. I used "thank you, happy birthday, congratulations, just a note, and thinking of you" stamps from Unity Stamps. I thought I would add this post to the Friends' With Flair Friday challenge.

If you're interested in getting a free cigar boxes; go to a cigar/smoke shop (if you have one in your area) and you can almost always get them for free - since they almost always throw them out! My husband comes home with 10+ sometimes in all shapes and sizes! Just go to the shop and ask if you can have some for free!! Thanks so very much for stopping by and taking a look

Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Paper: American Crafts
Envelope: SMASH
Stamps: Unity Stamp Co ('To the Moon & Back' KOTM)
Other: Cigar box, pen, font found online, Cricut machine, SCAL 2

  4. Very interesting gift... Us scrappers always thinking on reusing objects, right? I recently cleaned up a little my scrapbooking room and had lots of things like boxes I thought I was going to use earlier but it was enough! LOL. Love the idea of the cigar boxes and that seems of a pretty good quality (not weak). I bet your cousin will love her gift with the new letter in her last name. TFS.
