Baby Planner Project

I'm preggers! My husband and I found out on Monday that I'm pregnant! We've been trying for awhile now, because I lost our last child (this being my second loss of a baby) back in September. So, I am so very excited to be pregnant again and praying everyday that things go well and the baby keeps growing.

I had a journal/planner that the doctor's office gives out, and it has a calendar, a place for notes and memories, and all kind of things in there. I'm waiting for the new K&Company SMASH book to come out so I can use that instead, but I thought it would be fun to use this for awhile and re-cover it with some fun paper. I love the new stamp from Unity Stamps because it looks like a sonogram!

Also, I know it's kind of WAY early to be planning such a thing - I'm only 5 weeks along - but I am kind of glooking into ideas for shower invites. I love the Lasting Impressions Cow jumbping over the moon embossing template so I made a fun card using it. Thanks so very much for stopping by!

Paper: Jillibean Soup
Stamp: Unity Stamp Co. ("So happy for you" Itty Bitty)
Glitter stickers: Making Memories
Other: Ribbon, picture corners

*For the cow card: I made the spotted background using a pencil eraser and put it into black ink to stamp it. Then I traced the edge of the embossing edge to make the black "sky"
Embossing Template: Lasting Impressions ("Moo" and "Cow Jumped Over the Moon")
Ink: Tim Holtz distressing ink ("Old Paper")
Other: Light box, Brilliance black ink, sand paper
