. . . Think Happy Thoughts with Unity

Unity Challenges - Anything Goes: Today I just finished a Christmas gift I am making for my sister Sarah. I am doing a lot of home-made gifts because my husband and I are on a tight budget. I decided to make a Journal Jar for her and a journal to go with it. I found some great journal jar questions by just looking of some online and I added them to others that I found and I think I have over 300+ questions. (That will keep her busy for awhile. lol) I had an extra SMASH book that I will be using for myself, and since I don't need the pen that comes with it, I decided to tear off the pen holder and place it on the journal to hold the extra pen for her to use. I think it turned out rather nice. I am going to enter this into the Ippity Challenge at the Unity Stamp Co. blog. Thanks for taking a look

Stamps: Unity Stamp Co. ("Le Chic" stamp set, "Think Happy Thoughts" KOTM set)
Book: Found at Michael's $1 section
Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants
Destressing Inks: Tim Holtz (Old Paper, Tea Ink, Vintage Photo)
Flower & Leaves: Prima
"My Story" Words & Pink Glitter: Doodlebug
Glimmer Mist: Tattered Angels ("Tattered Rose" color)

I added glitter to the flower after glimmer misting it pink and then I added the glitter to the glue:

I put a pocket in the back of the book and it shows how I added the SMASH book pen to the page:

This is a Unity Stamp Kit of the Month stamp that is great to add to ever page for the book. I think it's a great stamp and have been using it often:
