Chick & the Ippity Challenge

Ippity and Chick Challenge CC09 I haven't played in a challenge in a few weeks because I have been somewhat busy making Christmas gifts for people. But, this week I happened to stop by and look at what was going on over at the Chick Challenge and and the Ippity "Free For All" challenge I really like the sketch this week so I decided to play along. I've gotten a few new Ippity Stamps in the last month so I thought it would be nice to make a "home" card for a friend who just bought a new home. The background is a embossing folder that looks like a tree, and I thought it really went along with the Ippity sentiment. I stamped the embossing folder with my pink ink and then I laid the paper over it, embossed it, and it turned out rather nice I think (I love the pink on Kraft look and have been using it often on some of my cards). Try it out yourself -- it looks really nice. Any color looks nice on Kraft or white paper. It's a nifty idea I tried after seeing it done on another card. Thanks so much for taking a look

Embossing folder: Tim Holtz
Ink: Brilliance Pearlescent Orchaid
Paper: Kraft
Stamps: Ippity by Unity Stamp Co ("Simply Home" & "Loads of Love")
Glitter: Doodlebug
Other: Heart eyelets and pink ribbon
