Cameo SVG files

My first SVG files: I have been looking into buying a Sillhouette Camo machine for awhile now, ever since I saw the wonderful way it cuts - so much better then the Cricut or other cutting machines I've seen. I have a Cricut, but am always disapointed by the way that it cuts and messes up. There are so many awesome files out there that I want to buy- but the ones that I want are only for the Silhouette. So, I decided to try my hand at making my own!

I am also really #@&*!&# mad that Cricut decided to sue anyone that comes up with a program that only BETTERS their machines and actually makes me use their machine MORE. But, because of this, the SCAL program is very hard to come by- around $300 + on eBay. BUT- I do have a guy that I bought my SCAL program from, and if anyone is interested in purchasing the SCAL program, please email me HERE or leave a comment, and I will send you the information ASAP.

Well, I have been looking at some wonderful cards lately (Paper Crafts Magazine for one) that have some amazing cards featuring cameos and silhouettes. I don't have any stamps (yet!) that have anything like that, and I can't seem to find anything that has cameos as a SVG files, so I thought I would try and figure out how to make one myself- and with the help of You Tube and other sites, I learned how to make my first two SVG files! If you'd like to learn how to do this, I found a wonderful video that teaches you how to do just that. You can find it HERE. It is a wonderful step-by-step video that teaches you such a simple way to make your own using free images found on the web.

Here are the files I found online:

A picture of what they look like on SCAL (Can be re-sized to anything you'd like):

Here is the card I made below. I bought the 8x8 My Mind's Eye Howdy Doody pad by accident (I don't like all the papes in there) and didn't think I would get a lot of use out of it, but I found that with this cameo, and because I want some "fancy" paper to make cards with the die-cut, I've been using the paper quite a bit!

SVG file: Cameo silhouette by Jessica Yoder-Jones
Paper: My Mind's Eye
Rub-on sentiment: Me & My Big Idea
Pearls: Prema
Scallop die-cut: Spellbinders
Flourish stamp: Hero Arts
Other: Brilliance white ink, sewing machine

SOoooo... I plan on trying my hand at making a lot more files and if anyone has a SIMPLE request (as this is my very first time making files, please let me know! If you would like the files, please leave a comment with your email, and I will send it out asap (I don't know how to add downloaded files yet. Anyone know how to-- please let me know!!!) Thank you so very much for taking a look!!
