RCC27: Anything Goes: I made this card for the
Ribbon Carousel's blog challenge. It's my first time in the challenge and I'm very glad I found such an awesome blog! The challenge for this week is where you had to make a card using any type of twine; any "anything goes challenge". I used some DMC cross stitch thread and then added some blue (Bean Stalks) twine from Jillibean Soup. I just wrapped the string around a few times and tried to space it out evenly. After using a lot of tape to get all the thread to stay in one place, I added a blue flower and other embellishments to add some color to make the blue twine POP! Here are some details of my card and thanks so very much for looking!!
Twine: (Blue) Jillibean Soup 'Bean Stalks' twine, (white) DMC
Flower: Prima
Ticket embellishment: Tim Holtz 'Adage Tickets'
Flower coloring: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Electric Blue)
Other: Blue button, stick pin with beads (made myself)
Oh, so that's how you make those tickets work! I've had mine for a long while and never knew what to do with them. Fantastic design.
